You may set an alarm on a stickum in order to remind
you of an important event. When the alarm goes off, the stickum
can flash, play a sound or both. Please note that any alarm enabled
NoteStack stickum will be automatically transfered to the desktop when
its alarm goes off.

How To Access the Alarm Settings Window
On the Desktop
There are two ways to access the Alarm Settings window
for a desktop stickum:
1. If the toolbar is on, click the "timer" icon (Figure 1);
2. Click on the Stickums program icon in the Titlebar and select
Properties -> Alarm (Figure 2).

On the NoteStack
There are two ways to access the Alarm Settings window
for a NoteStack stickum:
1. Click the "timer" icon on the toolbar (Figure 3);
2. Click on the Stickums program icon in the Titlebar of the
stickum and select Properties -> Alarm (Figure 4).

Descriptions of Alarm Settings Choices
| Alarm enabled |
If this box is checked,
the stickum will be alarm enabled. When this is the
case the Alarm icon on the toolbar will
be depressed, and the timer face will change from white to
yellow (Figures 5 and 6). |
| Date |
Sets the alarm date. |
| Time |
Sets the alarm time. |
| Play sound |
If this box is checked, the
stickum will play the sound file specified in the command button
below it. |
| Alarm sound file command button |
Selects the sound file. |
| Flashing window |
If this box is checked, the
stickum will flash when the alarm goes off. |
