Introduction

Azooq Doorpage Generator is the only software package  that allows you to create optimized doorpages with the click of a button. Simply enter the keywords, press generate, and all the doorpages are created. What used to take you weeks to do, you can now do it in a matter of minutes. With Azooq Doorpage Generator you can:

Installation

Simply execute the shipped executable and the software will install. Below the directory where you install the software, the following subdirectories are created:

  • Doorway. All your projects are created under the Doorway sub-directory
  • Help. The help files reside there

Azooq Doorpage Creator relies on a database interface called MDAC that is provided for free by Microsoft. Most systems already have MDAC installed, however, if you encounter problems using Azooq Doorpage Creator, we suggest that you download version 2.6 of MDAC and the latest Jet engine upgrade from Microsoft at http://www.microsoft.com/data .  Install the software and all problems should disappear.

Web Doorway Pages

Simply stated, a web doorway page is a page on your web that serves as a doorway for search engines. By establishing doorway pages, you can create specific pages that target a particular keyword. From the doorpage, the idea is to guide the web surfer to your own main page.

 If you have 30 keywords that are specific for your business/product and you want to create a doorpage for every single search engine, you then have to create 30 pages per search engine. If you want to submit the pages to 10 search engines, you then have to create 300 pages and analyze every single one of them to see if they fit the format that the search engine requires. This can take weeks if not months to do. Also, when search engine criteria changes, you have to redo all your work. Web promotion companies have huge staffs doing exactly that.

Doorpages, in general, do not have to be pretty. They should simply be a set of text with direct implications that the user should go to the main page in order to find out more about your company.

Last year, one person in our office spent most of his time creating doorway pages. It is a time consuming and exhausting job. However, we decided that he could be doing something else hence we decided to automate the process. By using Expert System Technology, we managed to create a system where the user only enters the keywords and we generate all the doorpages for the search engines the user requests.     Azooq Doorpage Generator

    The basic operation of Azooq Doorpage Generator is the following:

    • Create a project
    • Create a keyword list
    • Generate the doorway pages.

    If you want customized text in your doorway pages, simply go to the search engine form and setup the different search engines.

    The Main Screen

    1- Companies. Then companies that you are managing with projects.

2-Project List: This is the list of the projects for each company that you manage. Each project has its own body text list, keyword list, and search engines that are enabled.

3- Upload: Activate the upload screen

4- Project Name: The name of the current selected project

5- Project Notes. Notes that are taken re. this project.

6- Doorpage Body Text Setup. Select the body text available on the system here to be used with the selected engines.

7- Keyword Settings Selection. Select the group of pre-set keywords that you are targeting.

8- The list of the enabled/disabled search engines.

9- The list of the keywords selected by the Keyword Settings Selection

10 -View Last Results: View the results of the last run. This report contacts a list of all the files created and the files you should submit to the search engines.

11-Generate Pages: Click on this button to generate the pages. The pages will be generated into the Doorway\Company\Project-Name subdirectory.

    Keyword Lists Screen

    1- Keyword List: These are names of keyword collections that you want to use. Each collection may contain as many keywords as you want. The keywords are consequently used to generate the doorway pages.

    2- The Keywords: Simply press on the * (star) on the left side of the table and a new entry is made on the keyword list. To remove, click on the left box next to the keyword (which select it) and press the delete key.

    While entering, first enter the keyword, press Enter to finish the entry and then press Up-Arrow or Down-Arrow to continue. 

    Try to group keywords by category to make things easier. Hence when you create a group of doorway pages, you have a fairly focused set of keywords in the collection.

    The Search Engines Screen

    If you decide that for every keyword collection that you need a different set of text in the text box, the search engine screen offers you the capabilities to create search engine specific collections of text boxes that get entered into the generation of the doorway pages. For example, for an Exercise Machine you'd have Exercise machine related text on the body text, for Muscle Vitamins, you'd have vitamin related text in the body text. If you need to replace the keyword in the body text simply put [KEYWORD] and it will be replaced when the pages are generated. Currently, Azooq Doorpage Generator does not check on keyword spamming by the user.  

    1- Search Engine Collection: The set of search engine collections available. You can create an infinite amount of collections.

    2- Search Engines: The search engines available. By clicking on the search engine, the body text related to that search engine is displayed and the minimum and maximum amount of recommended words for the body text is displayed at the bottom. To do a word count, click on Count Words.

    3- Notes. Notes about this specific search engine.

    4- Body Text: Collection specific body text. For each collection, each search engine has its own body text available. There are two variables that are replaced in the body text:

    1. [KEYWORD]. If you want to place additional keywords in the body text, simply put [KEYWORD] in the body text and the data is replaced. 
    2. [KEYWORD_LINK]. This instructs the system to replace [KEYWORD_LINK] with a link to other keyword doorpages generated for the same search engine. Entering multiple [KEYWORD_LINK] enables the system to rotate through the keyword doorpages and replace the link to those pages. In essence, you create a web of keyword links within your own doorway pages. 

    5- Enable Body Text Randomizer: This feature enables the body text randomizer to work when pages are created. This is a very useful because you'll have a totally different web pages for the search engines to look at. The randomization is done by taking each paragraph and changing their position in the page. Hence, when you create the text, make each paragraph independent of each other so that they'll stand on their own. However, if you use keywords in the text, the keyword prominence will change with each doorway page. Also, a paragraph is text until the <P></P>  (next to each other, no spaces in between, in capital letters) is found. We basically are rotated on a round-robin fashion as the keywords are created.

    Company Information

    The information in the company information screen is used to create the doorway pages.

    There are two fields here that are very important: 

    1- The Company Name. The company name is used in the creation of the web pages. The company name cannot be changed once initially entered. This due to the licensing of Azooq Doorpage Generator. 

    2- Generate Company Description. You can choose Azooq Doorpage Generator to create a company description based on the keywords or you can enter the company description yourself. However, if you choose to enter the company description yourself, we highly recommend that you add the text [KEYWORD] at the beginning of the description for higher search engine ranking. Otherwise, Azooq Doorpage Generator will create a company description for you based on the keywords (recommended).

    Upload Screen

    To make life easier, Azooq Doorpage Generator provides you with an uploader that will take all your files and put them on your web site.

     

     

    Methodology

    The purpose of Azooq Doorpage Generator is to enable users to create high ranking doorway pages with the click of the button. Out challenge you to create doorway pages with our system and analyze them using page analyzers. You'll find that the structure and links in the doorway page is nothing but perfect. However, entering additional keywords into the body text may lower your search engine ranking. With that said, creating doorpages may be done in the following manner:

    1. Create a project to target a specific product/service.
    2. Create a keyword list (which is re-usable in other projects) with all the keywords that may be related to the nature of the project.
    3. If you want to use your own words in the body text, create a search engine collection and copy/paste the body text as you see fit. Otherwise use the body text provided.
    4. Click on the Generate Pages button.
    5. DONE! Read the submission report with what to do.

    To transfer, click on the upload button, enter the data, and upload the files to the web.

    Submitting Doorway Files

    Azooq Doorway Generator does not currently provide a submitter. We recommend using other submission software to submit your doorway pages.

    Doorway pages may be submitted in two ways:

    1. Traditional. Submit each one of them to the search engines. Unless you submit one page/day, this is a dangerous way of doing it and you may be listed as a spammer after a while.
    2. Linked-List Submission. For each search engine, a file is created that contains links to all the doorway pages optimized for that search engine. Submit that one file only, and when your site is spidered, all your doorway pages are spidered and rank higher if they are are found rather than submitted.
