Cruxel
----------
"Cruxel" is some kind of a crossword game. The player takes a letter from the Letter Selection and fills it into the grid, creating complete words. The longer the words the better. The words may be created horizontal or vertical. There is no need for a space between two words. The longer the word, the game will find, the more score points the player will get. "Cruxel" uses word lengths of 3 to 10 letters.
To create a word, just click on a letter from the Letter Selection. Move the mouse to that box of the grid, where you want the letter to be inserted. Just click again to insert the letter. The letter now appears in the grid, while the Letter Selection is updating.
If a word was found, this will flash up for a while. The score will be calculated, the boxes of the grid will be deleted for future use.
Sometimes, a star ( * ) will appear in the Letter Selection. This mark can be used to delete a letter in the grid.
"Cruxel" supports two languages, german and english. You may select your language, using the "Options" menu. So "Cruxel" may be used as an educational game to improve your vocabulary while playing.
When starting a new game, you may select the minimum word length of 3 or 4 letters, using the "minimal word length" box. Some longer words can only be created, when this option is preset to "4 letters".
The menu "Level" allows you to select 3, 6 or 9 letters to appear in the letter selection. If less letters are selected, the more points will be added to the score when a word is found.
The german language game uses the special letters , and . The german letter "" is not used in this game. "" is always written as double "s".
Articles have not been inserted to the game vocabulary.
A game ends after a certain number of letter inserts. A game may last for 10 or 20 minutes.

Score
----------
The score points for a created word depend on the word length and the level. The points are calculated like "word length raised to the second power". That means: A word of 3 letters makes 9 score points, but a word of 10 letters gives you 100 score points.
The level "6 letters" will double, the level "3 letters" will triple this result.
