The OLE DB Connection Builder dialog box enables you to choose your OLE DB provider and database, and have your connection string created for you automatically. You can choose from one of several OLE DB providers listed in the Choose Provider combo box. Once you choose a provider, the fields necessary to create a connection string for that specific provider will appear in the form. After providing the appropriate values for each visible field, clicking the OK button will close the dialog box and cause the resulting connection string to appear on the Choose Connection screen (from which this dialog box was opened). It is highly recommended that you test your choices by clicking the Test Connection button prior to committing them. If there is a problem with any of the parameters you've chosen, or the OLE DB provider you've chosen can not be found on your system, testing your connection will inform you of this.
