RSP Tar Gzip OCX 2.0.0

ActiveX OCX to list , test , and extract tar , tar-gzip and tar-bzip2 files

Version 2.0.0 has list and extraction capabilities to tar and tar-gzip files

Future versions will have tar-bzip2 capabilities also

What is new in the version 2.0.0 : Fixed bug that will avoid the 
extration or list of tar files with filenames larger than 100 characters ,
fixed bug that will not handle all kind of possible modified tar files 
using old GNU format or new POSIX modified formats using different typeflags ,
added list capabilities ,minor bugs fixed.

Description

Tar files are the standard way to compress and backup files 
in the Unix and Linux environments , this control can handle the tar 
files in the Win32 environment , the interface is very easy 
to use and very fast , future versions will have more features

- Ability to extract tar files in the format extensions .tar .tgz .tar.gzip tar.gz

- Ability to list tar files in the format extensions .tar .tgz .tar.gzip tar.gz

- The code is optimized for new AMD and Intel processors

- The decompression engine is loaded dynamically in the process

- Ability to pause , resume and cancel the execution

Install

- To install the control just execute setup.exe and follow the instructions
- To uninstall the control , search for the package in the add/remove applications
in the controle panel , and select remove , it will remove the control
from the system
