There are two configurable accounts in Ez4file: Administrator account and User account.

• An Adminstrator account is used for daily administration. The difference from the Built-in Administrator is that:

  • An Administrator can not see the real physical file system on the server. All administrative functionaties are based on the virtual directories,

  • An Administrator can access Ez4file from either local or remote computer for daily administration.

• A User account is used for people to manage the files and directories on the server. The difference from the Anonymous account is that:

  • A user can have Home directory and sub-directories.

  • A user can be granted full access rights on the server, instead of only download / upload rights associated with Anonymous account.\

  • A user needs UserID and password to logon to the Ez4file.

Both Administrator and User account can be created, modified, suspended, reactivated, and deleted.

NOTE: Either an Administrator or a user should be suspended before it can be deleted.
