Richard is a senior Software Engineer, with specialist expertise in the design and development of enterprise-level Internet Applications.

He has over 20 years experience in designing and developing software, as a Programmer/Analyst, Application Designer and Technical Architect. His expertise spans technology R&D, systems analysis, technical architecture, object-oriented design, coding, training and consulting.

Richard recently returned to Sydney, after being based in the USA for 7 years (San Francisco and Seattle). During the past 10 years, he has been involved in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design of multi-tier, distributed applications, including custom-designed application servers and Java middleware components.

His client list includes Oracle, IBM, Tandem, EDS, Ameritech, Hitachi Data Systems, Motorola and KAZ Computer Systems.

Richard's current research interest is the incorporation of probability mathematics into advanced text classification and filtering technologies for eliminating junk messages from Internet email systems.
